May 6th, 2012 What Is Dogging ?
A lot of adults are curious about adult sex lifestyles like swinging and dogging but they don’t know exactly what it entails. They only know that this is very popular in the UK and USA and people who are part of these communities have a lot of fun and that it involves getting a thrill from having sex in a semi-public place. We are here to help with all the dogging terms, rules and also to explain to you how you can locate adults local to your area.
So first things first, what is dogging? Dogging is a broad term that describes all the sexual outdoor activities that adults participate in. This can be anything from having anonymous recreational sex in secluded car parks, to exhibitionists putting on a show on a picnic table in the open air.
The name originates from the phrase “walking the dog”. In the late 80’s a lot of couples where having sex in their cars during the night around woodland areas and they where spied on by single guys. When the police officers and rangers that patrolled the area asked them what they were doing there the guys pretended that they were walking their dogs. As this concept of being watched while having sex evolved the single guys where soon asked to join in on the fun and the audiences grew. Now you can get from 5 to 15 people watching a couple having outdoor sex
UK dogging is predominately something British couples and singles enjoy and this activity also involves exhibitionism and voyeurism. The voyeurs are mainly men and the exhibitionists are mainly couples or women who love to attract attention and often invite people to join in. The UK dogging scene is, however, not the only popular sexual subculture and Scotland or Wales dogging has become just as famous.

Where can i take part in Dogging ?
With the growth of the internet the location of dogging ‘events’ are now advertised on the world wide web. Contacts are made, and then information passed via text messages.
To find locations in your area simply put ‘dogging locations‘ into a search engine and you will be given a list of results.
Car Park Dogging
Car park dogging is something that is very common. You will find that a car park is a great location to go dogging because they are a lot less likely to have any passersby and there is a place for you to park your car of course. Many doggers prefer car parks over any other location to go dogging.
Different Car Parks
It is a really good idea for you to try to switch and not use the same car parks over and over again. If they are used too often, it can be easy for the cops to get wind of the location and end up closing it down. By having multiple car parks that you go to, you will be able to have less chance of the police shutting them down.
Benefits of using car parks
Car parks are open so it won’t be so crowded for those that are watching. You will also find that you will be able to not have to worry about whether or not your car is going to be able to have a place to park
Dogging In A Car
Most people that like to go dogging will do it in a vehicle. This is the best way for the couple to feel safe and really be able to focus on each other. They will be able to invite people to join in or touch only if they want to. This is a lot more difficult to control when you are out in the open
Looking for Outdoor Sex Locations
When you are looking for outdoor sex locations, there are a few things that you will need to keep in mind. Outdoor sex can be a lot of fun and something that a lot of people take part in. You will simply need to make sure that you are able to find a location that is going to be safe and out of the way.
Dogging in the Woods
A lot of people find that going out to the woods to have sex can be a lot of fun. You will be out in nature with your partner and you feel like you are the only people in the world. This is something that a lot of people enjoy doing because it has the element of being outside without you having to worry about getting into trouble.
Wherever you go for outdoor sex you will need to make sure that the place is not a place where you are going to get caught. While the threat of getting caught can be really sexy, it can also be something that gets you into trouble and maybe even arrested. Be sure that the place that you decide to have sex at won’t have a lot of other people around
It is usually a good idea to bring a blanket and towel for clean up. Also, bug spray is a good addition no matter where you are going to be. If you happen to be having sex outside during the day, make sure to use sun block so that you don’t get any unpleasant
The Best Dogging Spots are always kept a Secret
If you are always trying to find good dogging sites and failing, then you are not alone. It is a known fact that all of the best dogging spots are kept secret. There are plenty reasons behind this. You will find that there are still ways that you will be able to get to know where to find the best dogging locations
You will find that the law is always trying to find the dogging locations and shut them down. This means that if a dogging location gets to be too popular, then the police will be able to come along and shut them down. There is an entire gray area when it comes to the legality of dogging. The best thing to do is make sure that the police are not aware of when or where it is happening.
The best way for you to be able to get to know where these locations will be is to get in touch with fellow doggers. build up a dogging contacts base, You will find that most of the time they will try to keep it as private and low key as possible so that there are not outsiders trying to get in and make it too well known. Try to find other doggers that will allow you to be a part of their meets
Dogging is usually in car parks woods or deserted parks. You will find that you will need to make sure that you are in a location where you will not be able to be seen
Daytime dogging is something that is definitely a lot less well known. You will find that when most people think of dogging, they think of doing it at night. There are a lot of different reasons why people prefer day time dogging over nighttime, just make sure that you understand the extra risks that go along with it.
IN THE CAR

Him in the passenger seat, her on top astride.
Missionary across the backseat. Depending on the size of the car the woman may have to spread her legs to the sides and rest on on the floorboards. The man may have to put one leg on the floorboard or put his feet out the open window or door.
Back to Front
The woman gets astride the front seats and backs her bum and presses in into the space between the seats. She can brace herself against the seats or the dash. The man is in the back seat and fucks her doggy style.
Up and At ‘Em
Woman lays across the back seat with the man on top between her legs. She plants her feet high and wide across the interior wall of the car. He kneels between her legs and pulls her pelvis up toward his. The female can use her legs to pump her pelvis in this position. Alternately, if there is room, she can hook her legs over his shoulders.
The man sits in the middle of the backseat with his legs spread. The woman gets on his lap facing the front of the car, leaning forward between the front seats, and rides his cock. The woman can grasp the front seats to get leverage in this position. The man can also sit with his legs straight out between the front seats with the woman straddling his lap, although this is more awkward.
ON THE CAR
On the Hood
The woman lies back on the hood of the car and scoots her bottom towards the edge. She can rest her feet on the bumper or the grille. The man stands in front between her legs and leans on the hood as he fucks her.Wraparound
Same as above, but upright, with the woman sitting on the hood. She wraps her legs around the man’s waist and supports herself with her arms, leaning back.
The woman lays her upper body face down on the hood. The man lifts her legs up and holds them spread apart as he fucks her from behind.
The woman lays back on the hood with the male standing in front between her legs. She lifts her legs so that she can hook the back of her heels over her partner’s shoulders. The woman tilts her pelvis up into position while the man supports her lower back with his hands.
Over the Top
For when you really want to put on a show. The woman climbs up on top of the hood on all fours, with her rear facing the front of the car. She leans on the roof of the car to support her upper body. The man kneels on the hood behind her and fucks her doggy style. Take care not to break the windscreen.
POSITIONS FOR ORAL
Left to Right
The basic front seat blowjob. The woman leans across and sucks the man. Front and Center. The man kneels straddling the front seats with his cock sticking through the space between the seats. The woman sits in back and blows him.
The woman lays her upper body face down on the hood. The man lifts her legs up and holds them spread apart as he fucks her from behind.
Both partners are in the backseat, the woman laying across the seat with legs open and the man on all fours over her in the 69 position.
With the door open, either the man or woman sits in the car seat facing outward while their partner kneels outside the car and goes down on them.
Dogging and The Law
There is a lot of misunderstanding and ignorance about dogging and the law, which we will try and address here, in the UK context. It is important that you know your rights, and know the legal position in respect of dogging.
Two key things for starters:- (1) The legislation that relates to dogging is the Sexual Offences Act 2003, hereafter referred to as SOA and (2) Dogging is not specifically defined as a sexual offence within the law.
Section 66 of the SOA looks at the offence of exposure whilst Section 67 deals with voyeurism and Section 68 defines voyeurism.
Section 66 of the SOA states that exposure of the genitals with the intent to cause alarm or distress to the person exposed is against the law. If an individual “intentionally exposes his genitals and he intends that someone will see them AND be caused alarm or distress” he is committing an offence. Plain and simple. It can clearly be argued that people out dogging and exposing themselves in the act of dogging are not out to cause alarm or distress, and are thus NOT committing an offence. If they expose themselves to the general public, well that’s a different story.
Section 67 of the SOA states that voyeurism is a sexual offence under four separate conditions.
- A person commits an offence if :-
- (1) for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, he observes another person doing a private act, and he knows that the other person does not consent to being observed for his sexual gratification.
- (2) he operates equipment with the intention of enabling another person to observe, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, a third party doing a private act, and he knows that the third party does not consent to his operating equipment with that intention.
- (3) he records another person doing a private act, he does so with the intention that he or a third person will, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, look at an image of that person doing the act, and he knows that person does not consent to his recording the act with that intention.
- (4) he instals equipment, or constructs or adapts a structure or part of a structure, with the intention of enabling himself or another person to commit an offence under subsection (1)
In essence this law is stating that it is a crime to watch any person engaging in a sexual act for the purpose of obtaining your own sexual gratification, knowing that the other person does not consent to such observation for your sexual gratification. If the person has consented to you watching and is fully aware that you are watching for your sexual gratification it is not a crime.
So, Section 67(3) of the SOA states that if you were to record another person during a private act, and you are doing so with the intent that you or another person will obtain sexual gratification from the recording and the person has not consented to the recording, you are also committing an offence. If they have consented then it is not a crime. Thus, if you are going to take pictures or record dogging activities on your phone or camera, it is best to make all persons aware that you are doing so and make sure that they consent to it. This is not normally a problem, but it is best to know where you stand legally.
Section 68 of the SOA interprets voyeurism as follows: If a person is doing a private act if the person is in a place (which includes a tent, vehicle or vessel or other temporary or movable structure) which, in the circumstances, would reasonably be expected to provide privacy, and the person’s genitals, buttocks or breasts are exposed or covered only with underwear, the person is using a lavatory, or the person is doing a sexual act that is not of a kind ordinarily done in public.
So that’s the law, in the UK. Other countries will of course have different laws. Responsible doggers exercising common sense should not fall foul of the SOA.
Also bear in mind that a person can also be charged if they use words, behaviour or display to cause another person harassment, alarm or distress under sections four and five of the Public Order Act 1986. This offence only applies if there is intent to cause alarm, and this legislation is very unlikely to be used in this context.
One other thing to consider is the common law offence of “outraging public decency”. The law comprises “statutory law” – enacted by Parliament – and “common law” which is composed largely of precedents decided by judges in court. “Outraging public decency” is a subjective concept and generally refers to pretty outrageous lewd behaviour, for example stripping naked on a public bus and then urinating on the seats, or doing that two cups thing in public. Dogging does not fall into the category of “outraging public decency” and we cannot find any record of a court finding a dogger guilty of the charge of “outraging public decency”. However, the phrase may get quoted by locals objecting to dogging in their area, sometimes the same locals who thought nothing of having fun down Lovers Lane when they were younger. Clearly outraging public decency is not what dogging is all about but do bear in mind the law is set up to protect people from wierdos exposing themselves in public.
Depending on the type of conviction, if you are found guilty of the above sexual offences you can be fined or imprisoned for up to two years, so it is worth knowing the law and more importantly that you abide by the law.
Where do the Police fit into all this? Whilst they have a duty to protect the public from indecent exposure, they have no business interfering with people involved in consensual sexual activity.
Your average police officer cannot be expected to know the law in detail. The average copper wants an easy life, and does not want to make arrests which are later quashed. On the rare ocassions they visit dogging spots, they are going either as a result of local police force policy, in response to a complaint, or out of human curiosity. They are reasonable people with a job to do and will normally act reasonably and may ask the doggers to move along. If they are going to arrest anyone, they of course need to have a reason to make an arrest, and may well state offences against Section 66 of the SOA as the reason. Remember, if you are involved in consensual activity, there is no offence. In the unlikely event that you are arrested, write down everything the arresting officer says (or record it to a phone answering machine if easier) – as this will help you later.
